Should I use vapour barrier on ceiling of three season cottage?

We are insulating roof from inside and then installing a wood ceiling. Wonder if there are any advantages to using a vapour barrier or whether this will actually cause moisture problems since any heat and moisture is caused from the inside not outside in a three season home.

In some cases,interior vapour barriers in homes with air conditioning can be a problem, particularly in more humid climates and if the home is kept at very low temperatures. If you are insulating and heating the cottage I would definitely include a vapour barrier. It will also act as an air barrier if you tape it well, so it will be more efficient and not feel as drafty. Unless you plan to have AC and keep it really cold in the summer then you should be good.
