I recently replaced the vapour barrier because of dry rot. Luckily no cracks in the foundation and floor joists are fine but I noticed that barrier is extremely wet. Running a dehumidifier has helped alot but still have moisture. Is there anything else I could do to remedy problems?
Is your vapour barrier laying directly on the concrete floor? I’m just not sure of the positioning given that you mention joists as well, unless you’re just reporting on the general condition of the space. What are the humidity levels? Homes (basements, crawl spaces and the whole shh-bang) are best kept below 60% Relative Humidity to avoid mold and I’m wondering how high above that you are, if at all. I It’s not a problem if the vapour barrier is wet on one side, that just means it’s doing its job.
如果你有一个带蒸汽屏障和除湿器的爬行空间,那应该很好,所以如果你真的有湿度问题,我会检查你的除湿器是否正常工作,是否适合你想调节的空气体积。

Another thing worth looking into while you're at this stage would be to check if you have high levels of radon gas, here is our page onHow to Remove Radon Gas from Basements and Crawlspaces
