Can I put foam boards up after I frame a basement?

I framed my basement, however I wasn't going to insulate my basement because I have a wood stove, and it stays pretty warm. But I feel for summer I want to have some insulation to keep it cool. Can I put foam board in between my studs and tac nail it?
你可以在螺柱之间放泡沫,但为什么不放球拍呢?你选择泡沫是因为在这里读到关于在地下室墙壁上使用泡沫来阻止蒸汽迁移到墙壁上的文章吗?If that’s the reason, I would sooner try to slip a sheet of 6-mil polyethylene vapor barrier behind the wood to keep it dry. Then you could use batts which would be easier to install. Is there space between the wood and the concrete? They really shouldn’t be touching.
As for the point of the insulation – the woodstove is keeping it warm, but it’s also warming the concrete and ground outside. Insulating it will save you a lot of wood in winter. If it’s bare concrete walls that are unprotected on the outside from moisture, then a vapor barrier against the concrete will help keep it dry in summer which would be a lot more comfortable probably.
Here is our page onhow to insulate basements so they won't go moldy, this may help you. If you have more questions just ask, we're always happy to help.
