Can Ontario contractor easily build home to code?

Hi! I live in Ontario and I'm wondering if it's easy enough for a contractor here to make adjustments to the home when assembling it to make it to code in Ontario.
Additionally, is this like a typical home in that we could add an addition or make changes let's say 20 years down the road if we want to move a wall here or there or does it have to stay the same?
thank you!
Kaylan
Many of ourprefab modular kit houses are LEED and Passive House ready, and they are designed here in Canada and able to meet and exceed the requirements of the National Building Code.
So as long as your contractor is able to meet any other code requirements, as in basement or slab on grade structural and thermal performance, and any site requirements, you should be more than fine.
You will also need to submit all plans to the city for permitting, so right there you will see if it passes. But the short answer is yes, our houses are able to meet Ontario building code.
