I am retired General contractor and moving out of state. I have storages full of tools, supplies and equipments for Electrical, Gardening and construction and looking to donate. Habbitat don't serve my area. Any suggestion, please!
That is a very generous thing to so, a tip of our collective hats to you. To be honest I’m not sure, but it shouldn’t be hard to find a home. Thoughts that come to mind would be – local schools, boys and girls clubs, community centers, Habitat for Humanity I guess as you mention but you seem to have explored that route. You could easily find a home for them by posting them in the same communities where peoplebuy and sell used building materials online. You could even make a whole bunch of friends in your neighbourhood if you hand them out as needed. Sorry we don’t have a more solid solution for you, but thank you, just the mention of such an act is nice to see, and it's the kind of thing that makes the world a better place. Cheers to you Sam.
